Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to Mimir Gate, an Android phone and spam-control app provided by Mimirs Foresight LLC.

By using Mimir Gate, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Mimir Gate Does

Mimir Gate helps you manage calls locally on your Android device. It can show contacts, place calls, display incoming call screens, silence unknown callers, apply local spam rules, create optional call shortcuts, and deliberately Drop calls when you choose that behavior.

Mimir Gate may need to be set as your default phone app for core call-handling features.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for the settings you choose. Aggressive call-handling settings can cause you to miss important calls from doctors, schools, employers, delivery services, emergency contacts, or other legitimate callers.

Use Drop only for numbers you intentionally want to cut off quickly. Drop may reduce voicemail from unwanted callers, but voicemail behavior depends on your carrier and device.

Protection mode presets and shortcut actions are convenience features. Review the behavior shown in the app before enabling aggressive call handling or creating shortcuts that place calls immediately.

Emergency Calls

Mimir Gate is not an emergency service, mobile carrier, or replacement for emergency calling. Emergency calls should be handled by Android, your device, and your mobile carrier.

Do not rely on Mimir Gate as your only way to contact emergency services.

Carrier and Device Limits

Call behavior can vary by Android version, device manufacturer, carrier, SIM configuration, signal quality, Do Not Disturb settings, Bluetooth state, and voicemail settings.

Mimir Gate cannot guarantee that every blocked, rejected, silenced, or dropped call will behave identically on every device or carrier. In particular, voicemail behavior may vary.

Privacy

Mimir Gate is designed to keep phone-app data local to your device in the current version. See the Mimir Gate Privacy Policy for details.

No Warranties

Mimir Gate is provided "as is" and "as available." Mimirs Foresight LLC does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect spam detection, carrier-specific behavior, or compatibility with every Android device.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Mimirs Foresight LLC is not liable for missed calls, blocked calls, voicemail outcomes, carrier charges, device issues, data loss, or indirect damages related to use of Mimir Gate.

Changes

Mimirs Foresight LLC may update Mimir Gate or these Terms over time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
